A very thoughful friend gave me this card

As you wait upon the Lord

You learn to see things from His perspective,

moveat His pace, and function under His directives.

Waiting times are growing times and learning times.

As you quiet your heart, you enter His peace;

as you sense your weakness, you recieve

His Strength; as you lay down your will,

you hear His calling ---

When you mount up, you are being lifted

by the wind of His spirit ---

When you move ahead, you are sensitive to His timing ---

When you act, you give yourself only to do the things

He has asked you to do.

My friend sent this to me as a reminder

A minister passing through his church in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar and see who had come to pray.
Just then the back door opened ,a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw the man hadn't shaved in a while.
His shirt was kinda shabby and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head, Then rose and walked away.

In the days that followed, each noon time came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,A lunch pail in his lap.
Well, the minister's suspicions grew,with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,"What are you doing here?"
The old man said, he worked down the road. Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time, For finding strength and power.
"I stay only moments, see, because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord, This is kinda what I say:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIPAND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY DAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM CHECKING IN TODAY.
"The minister feeling foolish,told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome To come and pray just anytime.
Time to go, Jim smiled, said "Thanks."He hurried to the door.

The minister knelt at the altar, he'd never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love,and met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart, he repeated old Jim's prayer:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIPAND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY DAY .SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY.

"Past noon one day, the minister noticed that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim, he began to worry some.
At the factory, he asked about him, learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried, But he'd given them a thrill.
The week that Jim was with them, Brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious. Changed people, were his reward.
The head nurse couldn't understandwhy Jim was so glad,when no flowers,
calls or cards came,Not a visitor he had.

The minister stayed by his bed, He voiced the nurse's concern:
No friends came to show they cared. He had nowhere to turn.
Looking surprised, old Jim spokeup and with a winsome smile;"the nurse is wrong,
she couldn't know,that in here all the while everyday at noon
He's here, a dear friend of mine, you see, He sits right down, takes my hand,
Leans over and says to me:"
I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM, HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP,AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN. ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY,
I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY, AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS CHECKING IN TODAY."

Many people will walk in and out of your life,but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. May God hold you in the palm of His hand And Angels watch over you.
But for those of us who are already His,
He not only holds us in the palm of His hand, but has engraved our names there, and we are
Continually in His sight (Isaiah 49:16) Without him, we are nothing but with Him we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (Phil 4:13)

WOW THIS PUTS IT ALL IN PERSPECTIVE. WHEN IT MAY APPEAR JESUS IS FAR AWAY HE IS WITH YOU RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE LISTENING TO & KNOWING YOUR HEART.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTAINANCE

Let me ask you a question today, are you sleeping when you should bepraying? Instead of building yourself up, making yourself strong throughprayer, are you sleeping instead?

Are you fighting life's problems without the supernatural power of God because you won't take the time to pray?You see my friend, we have a very real enemy that is out to kill, steal, and destroy! That means YOU! Satan knows where you are weak. Now he is notomniscient, but he is a master at trial and error. He will tempt you withsex. If that is not your weak point, he will tempt you with money. If thatis not your weak point, he will tempt you with alcohol. Satan will keeptrying until he finds that weakness in your life, and when he does, he willcome after you in that area.

Of course, God also knows we are weak. That is why He has commanded us toresist the devil. Proverbs 1:10 says "my son, if sinners entice you, do notgive in to them." Paul told the church at Ephesus to "put on the full armorof God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand yourground." We have great examples in the Word like Joseph literally runningfrom Potiphar's wife, Job praising God instead of cursing Him, and Danielrefusing the king's food and wine. James says to "resist the devil and hewill flee."Satan is a defeated foe, do not give him any victories he does not deserve.Stand up to him! Tell him he is a liar! Tell him that "greater is He thatis in me, than he that is in the world." YOU ARE COVERED BY THE BLOODOF THE LAMB!I love you and care about you so much. Actually we should be encouragedwhen we are tempted. The Bible says we are to consider it pure joy wheneverwe face trials of many kind. Why? Because the testing of our faithdevelops perseverance.

If you want a good test of spiritual growth here itis. How do you handle temptation in your life? Do you give in to it, or doyou resist it? I tell you this today, you can't resist temptation withoutthe strength of God, and to have the strength of God, you have to be closeto God. Each time you stand up to temptation and resist it, you getstronger in your faith.Here is your new prayer to start praying today, "Father, I pray this daythat I will not fall into temptation." I want you to start praying thatprayer every day so that when you are faced with temptation, you will beable to stand up to it and resist the devil. Your homework assignment is toread 1 Corinthians 10:13, it is YOUR PROMISE today.

Having a flat tire and being stuck on the side of the road with people passing you by time and time again. Nobody stopping to help you. Nobody careing about you or what happens to you. Who cares my car is not flat or someone else can help them. I am to busy and have no time.
People wiz by us each and every day and could care less about our condition.

There are two types of people when it comes to Christ.
1. The person that persues or goes after Christ.
2. The person that does not persue or go after God at all.
Think about the blind man in the Bible. He did not persue Jesus because he could not see Jesus. The blind man was a hopeless begger. He was on the side of the road for years begging from the people. One day he heard Jesus was coming and when he did hear him come close enough he yelled out HAVE MERCY ON ME. Jesus heard his cry and healed him.

The message here says you can,
1. Stay STUCK on the side of the road as a begger . Eat the scraps of the leftovers of others bleesing's. ORRRRRR
2. Yell out for God's mercy AND PERSUE him as the saviour of your life. Then sit a dine with the master at the table of life and live life in Him, & through Him.
PRO-DREAMS = STUCK OR PRO-CHOICE = LIFE
Inspiration and stay STUCK OR Transformation and be FREE

Trees TOYS and more

In Gen. God says to Adam & Eve that they may partake from ALL the trees in
the garden BUT THIS ONE TREE. God was simply saying concentrate on what
you have rather then what you do not. As children we enjoy our toys and are content
UNTIL we see someone with a biggger or better toy then we want that toy. We will lose interest in all the toys we have unless we get that one.

WHY DO YOU COMPARE YOURSELF TO THE 3% OF POPULATION THAT
HAVE MORE THEN YOU RATHER THEN THE 97% THAT DON'T????
Be thankful for what you have. Be realistic and fair about it as well.
Why is it that we give thanks for all we have on thanksgiving day and then the biggest
shopping day of the year is the next day? WHO DO WE THINK WE ARE FOOLING?

TAKE THE YOU AND THE BABY & PUT JESUS IN THERE
So often we do not even stop to thank Jesus or tell him how sweet(COMFORTING)
it is to be loved by him. We are so busy wanting and getting and taking in this life.
I would like to implore YOU to STOP and give thanks for all you have and STOP taking so much and give something to someone this season.
REMEMBER THIS:: YOU CAN'T BE THANKFUL IN YOUR HEART AND COMPLAIN
AT THE SAME TIME. YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO MAKE?? SO MAKE IT!!!!
