NEVERTHELESS AT YOUR WORD

TO BE YOUR BEST AT YOUR WORST YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THESE FOUR WORDS.
NEVERTHELESS AT YOUR WORD.....
The story of Peter, the boat, & the fish.
God told peter to take his boat out and recast his nets. Peter replied; " Lord, we have toiled all night and caught nothing" Peter was a fisherman afterall and they had just cleaned their nets and dried them for the next day. Peter had a bit of an attitude becuse he is thinking; "Man we just got them dried and put away. What is the sence in doing it again. We will not catch anything now. What a waste of energy and time. Perhaps even, I (PETER) am the fisherman you (JESUS) are just a carpenter. Let me do the fishing and you do the building." All that went trough Peter's mind then Peter replied; "NEVERTHELESS AT YOUR WORD... I will recast the nets as you said."
How many times have you had the chance to say, "Nevertheless at your word, Lord" and have said something else.
Perhaps a selfish know it all better then you attitude is not what is pleaseing to God.
Perhaps we should look at Jesus as the know it all and not ourselves.
HE DOES WANT US TO SAY,"NEVERTHELESS AT YOUR WORD,LORD"
Regardless of the cituations we face or how bad it may look or hurt we can say those four words and know that we are in the hands of the master.

when have you been able to step out like this?? for me, it's usually when i've got no where else to go. is that the lesson: get rid of all distractions... all things that don't really matter... get rid of them or God will! SW
